Despite the wild weather Friday night's 35th Anniversary Dinner turned out to be a fantastic night.
We were lucky to have Mike Bailey as our MC on the night and the wonderful Isaac providing the musical entertainment.
Over 100 guests attended TAD's birthday bash at Eden Gardens and helped us celebrate 35 years of service to people with disabilities.
Our theme was "Growing Independence: TAD's 35 Year Journey" and the surrounds of Eden Gardens helped capture that idea. Each guest also went home with their own packet of Forget Me Not seeds to grow.

Penny Graham also spoke about her son Alex, who has also benefited from various TAD solutions over the years. He first received one of our refurbished computers and has also had one of our Freedom Wheels Bikes. Both mothers demonstrated the need for organisations like TAD and the big difference it has made to their lives.

Our long-serving President Bill Phippen was given a surprise Honorary Membership to recognise his dedication to TAD since he joined in 1976.
The silent auction was quite popular among guests as was the launch of the 2011 TADNSW Calendar. We were lucky to have two of the artists in attendence, Stephanie Gore and Matt Kilby as well as the parents of our cover artist, Luke Faint, Trish and Wayne Faint. The calendars were officially launched by Bill Phippen and many took advantage of the opportunity to buy them. They are available to purchase now via our order form.
Thanks goes to our wonderful guests and supporters, including Cincom Systems, Microsoft (Australia) Inghams Enterprises, IBM, Suncorp, The Mailing House, Amway and our volunteers, supporters and staff for helping to make the evening such a success.
